Arbor House recognizes that some clients enter treatment after suffering through what is commonly referred to as interventions. Often these clients feel bullied and ashamed. They enter treatment for the wrong reasons. More times than not these clients fail to make progress and relapse.
Arbor House believes in Addiction Mediation as an alternative to intervention, where close support (family and friends) is utilized, giving input and guidance. Addiction Mediation is designed by the therapists at Arbor House to specifically address the individual who is struggling with abuse, while simultaneously assisting family and friends to draw and maintain healthier boundaries.
